Synopsis and more information

The plot of the opera, based on Shakespeare's unforgettable classic, follows the tragic love story between Romeo and Juliet. The two protagonists come from rival families in Verona, the Montagus and the Capulets, but they fall passionately in love despite knowing that this is impossible. They decide to marry in secret with the help of a friendly friar. Unfortunately, circumstances become complicated, leading to a series of tragic misunderstandings and the deaths of the two lovers.
